Love changes everything, says the song. My beautiful Lilit has come to me in South Australia for a three month visit and we are deliriously happy. Her visit is the first stage of the plan for the rest of our lives. My sisters have enjoyed meeting her and my friends like her as well. She is well on the way to being an established part of the family and an Aussie by adoption. I travelled to Yerevan, Armenia, to meet her two months ago and it became necessary for her to join me in my home in the Adelaide Hills as soon as possible. My ten days in Armenia were all over far too quickly. In our time apart we spoke on the telephone almost daily and we missed each other badly. Obtaining the visa for Lilit to enter Australia was a challenge and she got a chill in Moscow`s sub-zero temperatures, trying for two hours to hail a taxi to the airport after receiving her visa in the Australian embassy in Moscow. She was very tired, a little unwell, but very happy on arrival in Adelaide. As she emerged from the plane, our eyes met and we shared a mutual smile of love and happiness. She walked into my welcoming arms and we shared the first long kiss of many, many long kisses, the outward touch that shows our love for each other, a beautiful, deep, all-encompassing feeling of joy we both share now and which will mature like a fine wine for the rest of our days. My Lilit is all things to me - woman, partner, lover, goddess. I adore her and plan to make her my wife. She adores me and shows her love in many wonderful ways. Our first ten days together in Adelaide have been like a gorgeous dream and one from which I do not wish to awaken. We will share an Australian Christmas and new year and she will remain for the maximum three months allowed by her initial visa to Australia.
